Ecosustainability practices that are used in our inns:

Biodegradable Bags:

Plastic bags cause damage to marine fauna. It is estimated that 100,000 marine animals, such as seals, whales or turtles, die every year due to the ingestion of plastics, it is estimated that 13,000 plastic pieces contaminate every square kilometer of the sea. In our effort to reduce environmental pollution, prevent fish and birds of the archipelago from dying by ingesting them, we use biodegradable bags in our lunch box to collect the waste.

Biodegradable Plastic Utensils:

The biodegradable plastic is made with organic raw materials that come from renewable sources that at the end of its useful life, when being eliminated as organic resided, this decomposes in a short period of time, in the presence of microorganisms; serving as organic fertilizer for plants. Reason why our utensils either to eat as cutlery or to drink as cigarettes are made of biodegradable materials.

Organic foods:

We prefer to use organic and artisanal foods, such as sugar, honey, jams made by local producers.

Organic Soaps:

The shampoo, liquid soap, bath and toilet for personal hygiene are made with 100% natural ingredients, which have not been subjected to pesticides or specific procedures.

Waste Classification:

Organic and non-organic waste separation practices are carried out in search of preventing leachates and the spread of pests or mosquitoes. The organic waste is used in a compost in search of fertilizer for the plants that we have in our artisanal nursery.
